    Compliance Team, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for an engineering professional who possesses an entrepreneur’s spirit interested in contributing to our commissioning and future energy management consulting business.  We seek a top-notch professional with experience in engineering, designing and commissioning of HVAC / refrigeration systems, domestic hot water, control systems, building envelopes, etc.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include executing commissioning activities and managing client relations for Compliance Team’s Commissioning Business Unit.  Responsibilities include writing proposals, performing design reviews, preparing/executing commissioning plans and commissioning checklists, conducting commissioning meetings, reviewing commissioned systems submittals, and performing pre-functional verification and functional test activities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred
    • At least 5 years engineering and / or commissioning experience
    • CCP, CEM, CxA, and / or LEED accreditations preferred
    • Knowledge of automated control systems, HVAC, Chiller and Boiler Systems
    • Knowledge of mechanical system designs for commercial, institutional and light industrial facilities
    • Knowledge of building and energy codes as well as energy and commissioning standards
    • Must be capable of leading commissioning meetings for design and construction teams
    • Must be capable of creating pre-functional and functional test procedures

    In addition to the above technical competencies, ideal candidates will have a commitment to delivering service excellence along with outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.  Candidates must be results-oriented, able to make decisions, and able to prioritize work per business needs.  Strong communication, organization, and time management skills are necessary.  Desired skills include: teamwork, leadership, ability to maintain constructive relationships with team personnel.  The successful candidate should demonstrate integrity, reliability, dedication, adaptability, innovation, and self-motivation.
